It is a misconception that all foreign threads are metric. Usually not, there are two commonly used forms of thread - Metric thread and Wyeth standard BSP. The British standard BSP pipe is also called Wyeth standard Huai thread. It can be either straight thread (BSPP) or taper thread (BSPT) with inverted cone.

The flanges are similar to those of type SAE61 or type 62 flanges (except -10*). Port connections are usually threaded through BSPP. It is sealed with a soft metal seal ring. BSPP (straight) external thread can be matched with BSPP (straight) internal thread or inner thread port. BSPP external thread is straight thread and with 30 degrees cone seat. BSPP internal thread is also straight thread and with 30 degrees cone seat. The internal thread port is straight thread and with seal face. The seal at the port is formed by the O shape or soft metal pad on the outer threaded joint.

The BSPP (straight thread) joint is similar to the NPSM joint but is not interchangeable. The thread pitch of most sizes is different, the thread tooth angle is 55 degrees, while the NPSM thread type angle is 60 degrees (-10 is the flange of non SAE specification).

2. The French standard Huai

法国GAZ是常用的管接头。这种接头是公制螺纹并带24°锥座。与德国DIN管接头类似，但其螺纹在些尺寸上有所不同。虽然二者都是公制螺纹，但是法国所有规格的管接头均採用细牙螺纹，而德国DIN管接头尺寸较大，採用粗牙螺纹。大多数端口连接均为法兰连接。法国标淮法兰与SAE和hellip标淮法兰不同;其法兰端面有一个突起的凸台。这种法兰叫作Poclain型法兰。

The French GAZ is a common tube connector. The joint is a metric thread with a 24 degree conical seat. Similar to German DIN pipe joints, but their threads are different in size. Although the two are all metric thread, all the French fittings have fine thread, while the German DIN pipe joint has a large size and adopts coarse thread. Most port connections are flanged. The French standard Huai flange is different from the SAE and hellip standard Huai flange, and there is a raised boss on the flange end. This flanges are called Poclain flanges.

3、德国标淮

3, Germany's standard Huai

德国DIN(德国工业标淮)是常用的管接头。所谓的公制管接头通常是指DIN管接头。其法兰为标淮的61型或62型法兰(-10除外)。

German DIN (German industrial standard Huai) is a common pipe connector. The so-called metric pipe joints usually refer to the DIN pipe joints. The flange is standard flange type 61 or type 62 flange (except -10).

说明：DIN24°锥球头可以与图示的三种内螺纹相配合。外螺纹接头为球头公制直螺纹具有24°锥座和一个球头沉孔，该孔与所用的管接头的内管外径相配，与外螺纹相配的内螺纹包括带O形圈，公制管接头的24°锥球头内螺纹，或通用24°或60°锥球头内螺纹等。

Description: the DIN24 degree cone head can be matched with the three internal threads shown. The external threaded joint is a metric straight thread with a 24 degree cone and a ball head, which is matched with the outer diameter of the pipe joint. The internal threads that match the external thread include the O ring, the 24 degree conical head inner thread of the common pipe joint, or the internal thread of the common 24 or 60 degrees cone.

说明：DIN60°锥球头外螺纹接头只能与通用24°或60°锥球头内螺纹接头配合。外螺纹为公制直螺纹并带60°锥座。内螺纹为公制直螺纹并带通用24°和60°锥座。当使用锥座角量规测量锥角时，应使用30°锥角量规。(使用锥座角量规沿接头中心线进行测量。)

Description: DIN60 degree cone ball outer thread joint can only match with universal 24 degree or 60 degree conical ball inner thread joint. The external thread is a metric straight thread with a 60 degree conical seat. The internal thread is metric straight thread with universal 24 degree and 60 degree cone seat. When measuring cone angle using cone angle gauge, 30 degree cone gauge should be used. (use cone angle gauge to measure along the center line of the joint. )

说明：DIN3852 A型和B型外螺纹管接头可以与下图所示的DIN内螺纹管接头配合。A型和B型外螺纹及内螺纹管接头均为直螺纹。图1是指公制直螺纹，而图2是指惠氏标淮直螺纹。当密封圏(A型)或密封面(B型)与内螺纹端口的密封面配合时形成密封。DIN3852 A型和B型管接头有两种类型;轻型(L)系列和重型(S)系列。

Description: DIN3852 A and B type outer threaded pipe joints can be matched with the DIN screwed pipe joints shown below. Both A and B type external thread and inner thread pipe joint are straight thread. Fig. 1 refers to metric straight thread, and Figure 2 refers to Wyeth standard straight thread. When the seal type (A type) or the sealing surface (B type) is matched with the sealing surface of the inner thread port, a seal is formed. There are two types of DIN3852 A and B pipe joints: light duty (L) series and heavy duty (S) series.

Description: DIN 3852 C pipe joint can be metric thread or Wyeth British thread. The external thread can only be matched with the illustrated inner thread. The inner and outer pipe joints are all conical thread. Table 1 refers to metric taper threads, and table 2 refers to Wyeth standard Huaihe taper thread. The seal is formed at the thread. DIN 3852 C type pipe joint has three series: ultra light series (LL), light series (L) and Heavy Duty series (S).

说明﹕公制压套式管头总成由连接在外接头上的三个部件组成。这三个部件分别是：管芯﹐压套和公制螺母。螺母装配在管芯上﹐然后再装配压套(见图) 。DIN轻型系列总成使用DIN轻型系列公制螺母﹐而DIN重型系列总成使用DIN重型系列公制螺母。压套和管芯根据所需的内管外径选择。

Description: the metric tube sleeve assembly consists of three components connected to the outer joint. The three components are: tube core, pressure sleeve and metric nut. The nut is assembled on the tube core and then fitted with a pressure sleeve (see Figure). The DIN lightweight series assembly uses DIN light series Metric Nuts, while the DIN heavy duty assembly uses DIN Heavy Duty series nut. The sleeve and core are selected according to the required inner diameter.
